This option is ideal for a GP seeking to work on a casual independent basis. You can opt to work as much or as little as you want, choosing when and where and the type of work you prefer.
As an independent locum, you negotiate your own terms and sessional rates of pay or percentage of billings. VMO and on-call rates are paid in addition and vary between health services.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to experience clinical diversity and broaden your scope of practice whilst exploring rural Victoria. As a GP locum with us, you'll find a wide range of rewarding opportunities. You can provide GP sessional work, support local hospitals and aged care facilities with VMO rights, engage in after-hours/on-call work, and make a meaningful impact in Aboriginal communities.
We know our rural communities and the practices where you will be working, so you can be assured we will match you to the right placement that suits your skills and preferences.
